Our Location

We live in the North West of England which provides access to some of the most beautiful countryside, hills and mountains in the United Kingdom. All our members have a great love of the outdoor life. The composite image captures just a small selection of the walks the Club has done over the last few` years.

The Peak District National Park has a very varied landscape ranging from high moorland to limestone dales populated with profuse wildlife including the "white hare".
Within a radius of 90 miles we can be walking and scrambling amongst the high peaks of Snowdonia in Wales - which is the home to 14 mountains over 905 metres - or in the Lake District, in Cumbria, with its magnificent lakes, valleys and high fells.
Just as close are the Yorkshire Dales with their unique limestone formations, roaring waterfalls and great pot-holes and only a little farther afield is the remote and beautiful county of Northumberland with its magnificent national park and coastline.
