Park Cars – Healey Dell Nature Reserve car park at Broadley Wood Mill, (where leader will meet). GR SD879164. From A671(M)/A664 to Rochdale, right onto A58 (Halifax). After about 2 miles, left onto A671 (Burnley). After about 1 mile (just after leaving Rochdale and entering Rossendale), the road bends sharp right, then take 1st left into Station Road (Broadley). Bear left to the car park, or alternatively park at the roadside.
Details – This Clockwise circuit from Healey Dell will travel via Knacks Lane, Rooley Moor, Top of Pike, Cowpe Moss, Rooley Moor Road, Top of Leach, Ragstone Brow, The Spodden Valley and back to the cars. Good views, and the usual countryside undulations.
