Please note that the February Circular details for the shorter walk at Prestbury and Tytherington, being led by Keith Wykes and Jean Hibbert are incorrect in two instances:
The walk category is 3/4 and not 4.
The directions to the start point should read as below. Change indicated in red:
Roadside and cul-de-sac end of Abbey Road running above “Willow Court Private” signs at GR SJ 907749, postcode SK10 3PD (where leaders will meet). From Alderley Edge Village take B5087 Macclesfield Rd. and after some 4+ mls look out for “King’s” signs on left, then 30mph road signs, before taking R.H. lane prior to Upton Priory double mini-roundabouts where negotiate ahead (R. then L.) to “Macclesfield” Boundary Sign nr. Postcode SK10 3PD. After 1mile approx. take 3rd L. into Bollinbrook Road, then straight ahead taking 90 degree R.H. Bend and then taking 3rd L. Into Abbey Rd. Keep ahead on Abbey Rd. until end & parking.
