“Further to our recently notified ADRC Walk Leader training for 2023, we can now confirm the booking arrangements.
The two classroom sessions will be in Room 2 at Altrincham Library and will be split between ‘beginner’ and ‘advanced’, on the respective dates below. As advised, both classroom sessions will focus on map reading/navigation and walk creation and will be interactive within the time available to us. The advanced session will also extend into other relevant walk leading areas.
Classroom (beginner) – Tuesday 14th March 10.30 – 12.30
Classroom (advanced) – Thursday 23rd March 10.30 – 12.30
Numbers will be limited to 15 per session, and for members who are interested in attending, along with the follow on outdoor sessions, please contact either David Bishop, Telephone 07796 426641, or e-mail at davidalexbishop2014@gmail.com, or John Capel, telephone 07866 764187, or e-mail at john@capels.net by the 28th February 2023; final confirmations will be at the organisers discretion.
Due to strict time restraints, please ensure you are at Altrincham Library, Room 2 ready to start by the due time. If you need refreshments, please bring your own.
We can now also advise that the outdoor sessions will again be at Lyme Park on Wednesday 19th April (beginners) and Sunday 23rd April (advanced). Those confirmed for the above classroom sessions, will be automatically booked on the outdoor sessions, unless we are advised otherwise”.
