Please note that at the Committee meeting of May 2nd the changes to the “On-Line Walk Submission Form” indicated below were proposed, discussed and agreed, and the resulting work has now been completed by the Webmaster.
The “Maximum Number Of Walkers” field has been removed from the form. Should a leader(s) wish to restrict the number of Club members taking part in their walk, then they need to include this in their walk description.
The “Meeting Time At Altrincham” field has been removed from the form. No leader(s) offer this option any more. The only time option now required is “Walk Start Time”. Should a leader(s) wish to meet at Altrincham, then they need to include this information in their walk description.
The “Park Cars” field has been changed to read “Meet At”. This removes the need for the Programme Secretary to manually type in “where leader(s) will meet” in almost every walk submission, as it is now accepted that all leader(s) will meet their pre-booked participants at the “Meet At” place indicated, unless otherwise stated in the walk description.
The above will come into effect for all walk submissions from July 2024 onwards, and the associated monthly circulars will reflect these changes
